Seabeck Pizza Parlor, Bremerton, WA

This is a light-duty commercial project that TCA helped frame. The building was primarily constructed of dimensional lumber with a trussed roof (the tallest section made from LVL and TJI components) and supported by two large glue lams. The tall section of the building consists of a 20' wall raking down at a 3 in 12 pitch over the main dining area.

These photos highlight decorative beams over the dining area that were installed after the main body of framing had been completed. They are intended to appear to continue outside of the building and support the 4' overhang shown here.

Doug-Fir Slated Fence

This fence was constructed around a "big toy" on the Northwest side of Tacoma. Concrete pads and footings were poured to support the fence against winds that can sometimes blow through the area. The top of the fence was finished with 2x6 and rough sawn cedar.

Fireplace Trim Detail

The top portion of this trim detail was created to match a similar dental detail elsewhere in this North End craftsman style home.

Tahoma Construction Associates LLC is a small company, started in November 2009 with a single member, operating in Tacoma, WA. TCA specializes in small, high quality remodels and new construction of residential homes. TCA offers homeowners a chance to interact closely with a qualified contractor to size their project to meet their needs. We are especially interested in integrating green and sustainable technologies, products, and techniques into our projects.

Specialties outside of carpentry (such as plumbing and electrical work) are filled by skilled, licensed subcontractors. We are intent on providing our customers with a high quality product that follows or exceeds all applicable building codes and only utilize the services of subcontractors that can meet this expectation.

We do not provide free estimates at this time but request an initial fee of $35, forgiven on acceptance of a TCA bid proposal.
